Cardiothoracic Surgery house officer inserting chest tubes, handling chest trauma with my fabulous outstanding CTSU team 💞 It was bloody on many days but the smiles on our patients’ faces made it worth it. Being retained in the unit before moving on to General Surgery.

Surviving a staff shortage in my paedatrics rotation. Doing great work with my senior colleagues in paediatric haematology, oncology, infectious diseases, emergency, and neonatology. Saving lives is fun!

Enjoying fruits cut up,designed and made into smoothies.

My long awaited convocation. Being officially a #UNILAG graduate, getting my permanent Nigerian medical license and starting National Youth Service.

Gathering data and writing research papers. Getting published in an international journal, thanks to the persistence and dedication of my co-authors.

The two Eids. The joy of family and blessings. Completing the #ramadhan daily post series and launching @theramadhanbaby.

Reading and reviewing more books than the years before (medical school and hour job were demanding!!!)
Getting more active on #bookstagram and book clubs in Lagos.

Learning major life lessons in faith, trust, work, people and behaviour, health.

Venturing into #design, #business, #fashion…..and enjoying new things.
